"I know its a long shot but 2 yng fit lads aged around 30 are looking for some accommodation in Liverpool for Sat 25th August. Both nice genuine respectful guys who are willing to pay £££ to stay. Anyone help out or know someone who could? Thanks J x" OK This might be taken 2 ways, one a place to stay where your able to swing with a couple off the site, in which case good luck and no can't help. 2ndly though, if your on a night out in Liverpool on the Bank Holiday weekend for the Matthew Street Festival, theres several places to stay, such as Premier Travel Inn in Netherton which is near Aintree Race Corse and about 6 miles outside of the city centre, but you can get a train into town and a taxi back. Travel Lodge have their city centre hotel available but it's expensive. The best deal I found in a few seconds is Travel Lodge, Wallasey, New Brighton which is £65.95 for the night. It's on Wirral rather than Liverpool city centre, but you can easily get the train into Liverpool (about 20 minutes or so) and there is a tunnel bus that runs through the night (midnight til about 4amish) back to New Brighton from Liverpool city centre plus the trains restart about 6am too. That is probably the cheapest way of staying near Liverpool, being able to take in all the entertainment and have a good clean place to stay in. Hope that helps, if u need more info let me know

"Thanks! Yes it is more for a night out & had a quick look but Liverpool Centre is coming out at over £100 for 1 night so thought I would try other avenues!" In that case, Jamie, that hotel i mentioned in New Brighton will defo be your best and cheapest bet. Your problem on that weekend is first off it's bank holiday weekend with The Matthew Street Festival on te Sunday & Monday, well worth staying up for by the way as it's a really fun music event all over the city, plus Liverpool play their first home game of the season on the Sunday afternoon which means many hotels up their prices and many are fully booked by football fans travelling in from all over UK and Europe for the game. The night bus back to New Brighton will cost you £4 each, if you share a taxi it'll be the best part of £25 to £30 between you, which still works out cheaper than staying in one of the city centre hotels. Anyway, I'll leave it to you now, have fun Mark
