Serendipity

I chat to a few here, can’t recall how our conversation started. We must have gained each other’s attention somehow.

I used to take quite a bit of time write a tailored message to everyone I decided to try and get in touch with.

But after most of the messages were deleted without even being read, I thought “fuck that”, blocked them (just so that I don’t embrace myself by trying to message them again in a few months) and now I just send cock pics.

Since then I’ve never looked back.

Usually if people follow directions.

But i suppose it also depends on the context of the message

People who take some time and care over their message and have clearly read our profile and understand our dynamic, a face pix and a smile also helps

"A well written message "

But you can't see that unless headline/subject is appealing enough to open

.

I tend to reply to most at some point if they are a bit more than *wuu2* because that's just how I am. I like ones that show they've considered me as a person, that make me laugh. Even a couple of sentences do it. I lose interest quickly though.

People who’ve clearly read my profile and messaged something about it, doesn’t have to be a lot just something that shows we’ve similar interests. Or even just a how are you message if they’ve attached pictures and there profile has abit about it.

I always read a profile and only send a message if its appropriate as no point hoping if your not ticking the interests. I sometimes write nice comments on photos uploaded or if they have viewed me. I then go from there but I never pester

If it’s a straight forward - no thought given, I reply politely with ‘ no thank you’

If it’s sent with a degree of thought - I may chat

If it’s well composed, articulate and intelligent - I will definitely engage

Next step is the dreaded FP exchange which often kills it

If they have read my profile and write properly I will be polite.

Sometimes a message just jumps out at me and engages me more than others.

If they send a dick pic then regardless of how nice the message is, it gets deleted.

Reply privatelyReply in forumReply +quote

By (user no longer on site)

It depends for me.

If I have lot of messages, which is some times the case, I often don't see a message before FB removes it.

Often ill have a message asking me why I haven't read the first message which I haven't seen.

A message with a dick pic will be deleted straight off

If a profile is full of dick pics and nothing to tell me anything about the person I'll delete the message.

If the message makes me smile ill engage.

If its blatant 'wanna fuck' message. I'll delete.

If the person has things in their profile that I am clearly not into I don't reply..

If it's polite and well considered.

Either a forum conversation I want to have, or all of - having read my profile, matching my interests, and I think has potential.

Whenever I get a message from a woman on any app it gets my attention because to get a message out of the blue is rare for me.

Usually I have to write a long well writen message in the hope of getting a reply and it usually leads to nothing.

Last night I had my first proper conversation on here and I thought it went well. At the end of the conversation I wished her good night and she wished me a good time on fab.

Today I looked at her profile again and she blocked me I can't work out why she would do that.

I would take the time to read and understand a profile and what the person/people were looking for and then if I felt myself a match I would write a message just for them.

I've always remained polite etc. but It never seems to work. ignored just never read at all.

makes you wonder why/what/how people even met.

I don't have clubs etc near to me

Text speak does my head in. Usually go by distance, a picture of some sort - doesn't have to be face as my face pics are friends only.

?

My first step is if I think they're attractive - I won't generally engage if I don't want to get jiggy with them (forum conversations are the main exception to this)

Next step is to read their profile - any red flags in that and it's straight to the delete pile.

Lastly it's the message itself - again, any red flags and I press the delete button.

All the above is on the rare occasions that I actually look at the messages I've received - when I'm looking for someone new to meet (which hasn't happened for quite some time) I tend to go on the hunt myself
