Almost 50 — help

I have been heading into my 50’s with not too many cares or concerns.

Being 50 means if you die from now on nobody would say you were young

My daughter takes the piss by calling me old but I don’t feel old. I am still active and enjoy lots of activities, some more than others, granted

How did hitting 50 affect you and have you any advice for someone who isn’t getting older without a fight ?

Was never bothered about the numbers but when I turned 50 it was like....wtf I'm actually half a hundred!

Felt depressed for bout 5 mins then just got on, it's not sore, honestly lol

Happy Birthday

I was on holiday when I hit 50 in February, and had the best time , it’s just a number , I get asked if I’m really 50 all the time

Just think next year you'll be 51! So embrace it... You'll never be as young as you are today

BangOn turned last year. We rented a large villa in Tenerife and took 12 good friends out there for a week.

It's only a number, we're having more fun now than we've ever had

50? I'm well on my way to 60!

Like has already been said, it's just a number, much more serious things to worry about at the minute. Stop worrying about something you can do nothing about and enjoy your life................................what you have left of it anyway

There and to the left a bit

Haven't really thought about it to be honest OP, and I'm almost half way through mine now - ticking off another decade really isn't something I've ever done - am still the same person, still act the same way as I did the day before when I had a different first digit to my age - sure some physical parts might work differently but that's not determined as soon as my age goes up another number either...

....so I just keep on keeping on being me
