Why can’t there be a filter “the idiots button”

So annoyed at some of these messages you get from guys who clearly have no respect for women.

Why do they feel that the have the right to send abuse just because you’re not interested.

It seriously puts me off this site sometimes

Which is unfair as there are some decent guys on here.

Because they were brought up with no respect, anyone like that really shouldn't be on this site because they just expect a meet from a message and get annoyed when it dont go their way x

It’s ok to be frustrated; that kind of shit is so needless.

Delete the messages, block the sender and don’t give them another thought is the best advice. The first two are easy, the third is tricky but can be done - the idiots don’t deserve any of your thoughts

I know everyone will tell you ‘it’s just words on a screen, just block and report them!’ But abuse is shitty. I’ve had some abuse I’ve received on fab reduce me to tears. And it was from well verified men that I had never spoken to before.

It’s it affecting you - take a wee break. These people (because I’m sure women, couples etc send abuse as well) are shitty. Put your filters up and make it so no one can message you for a wee bit.

Ignore them. I appreciate that can be difficult especially when they’ve hit a nerve but they want you to react. You block them and delete the message so you’re a better person for it. Don’t descend to their level, you’re better than that.

It’s funny how one minute they want to meet and as soon as you’ve turned them down the insults begin.

I know it’s nice to send a message declining their offer but sometimes it’s easier just to block. These people are strangers and you owe them nothing. They wouldn’t speak to you like that face to face so there’s no need to put up with it on here.

It is a real shame you have to deal with that type of behaviour. I don't think I could put up with it. Everyone I'm talking to right now is saying the same thing so it must be bad. Just remember that some of us are good guys!

I know what you mean, it’s really shitty to receive the abuse.

I had a different profile previously, which I deleted partly due to the abuse received from someone.

Some men turn into entitled arseholes if you have had few messages back and forth.

There is a difference between being pushy and just being rude and disrespectful. Everyone deserves respect whether Male or female.

I always wonder what these men would be like in person, just as pushy and rude? I’ll never find out

I agree you shouldn't have to but if the messages are causing you grief then that's an easy step to stop you receiving them.

All I can say is, sorry about that. As someone has mentioned, one possible solution is to block all incoming messages and reach out to people who you like. But I just read your profile. It is hard to find men who are looking for something as specific as that from their fab profiles. I understand your dilemma. So, rapid-fire blocking seems to be the best way out.

There is no excuse for someone being rude. If they're doing it because they've been rejected then it just shows how immature they really are.

Report, block, move on and try not to take it to heart. Easier said than done at times I know, but they're really not worth a second thought.
