Do you send people birthday, Xmas, Easter cards etc, or have you succumbed to the digital age (excuse) and send an e-card instead?

I've never had that many birthday cards anyway (my brother has NEVER sent me a card and sisters are too consumed with their own loves to bother) so the mantelpiece on my birthday tends to look a bit forlorn (got 6 this year which is a 50% increase on last year). I did recieve two e-cards as well though, but tbh I tend to read them if I can be arsed then delete them, or just delete them unread.

What do you prefer to give/recieve?

I wouldn't bother sending an e-card and I don't like receiving them, I tend to read and delete.

I sent one birthday card last year, the others I hand delivered with the present and likewise in return.

I make cards for people... often themed designs personal to them x

I like to both give and receive "proper" cards, always tell my family that I would rather have a card than a present.

It's a bummer now that postage has gone up but heyho, I shall still be sending them regardless!!

I love sending cards and writing letters to put in them. much prefer cards to gifts and the handwritten word makes it more personal

I don't much like e-cards, real ones are nicer... although I wish my mum would remember I'm not 5 anymore...teddy bears and glitter ain't really my bag

I view (pun intended) e-cards as things sent by people too lazy or tight-arsed to go out and buy a real card, write it out, stick a stamp on it and post it - and I'd much rather they didn't bother tbh.
