Snowballing..

Have any of you started off doing a little job around the house and it snowballed?

I picked a recipe book off the top of my kitchen cupboard this morning and it was a bit greasy, so got all the stuff down to clean it.

Ended up painting the whole kitchen!

That’s hilarious can see it building as now you look at kitchen painted and see it compared to room next do and then that’s done. So on and so on. Full house done in lockdown

Snowball is also a method of collecting data for studying society.

So of course many of the women who were on my degree assumed that snowballing would be the correct term when describing the carrying out of such data collecting. Not only were they wrong but most felt rather sick when begining their research into how it is done.

I took the dog out in the car and went to the park. Said I would let him out for a quick 2 min walk. Ended up doing a 1.5hr loop.

Went up to patch a few shingles on the roof and put my foot through near a vent pipe now we are having the entire roof removed and replaced ??

This happens to me all the time! Usually late at night when I should be chilling out before bed, I'll get up to do the dishes and end up scrubbing the whole flat!

Started cleaning the kitchen and have now snowballed into redesigning the garden and have ordered a new “garden office” all because I wanted more grass for the dog lol

This is me!!! And end up making more mess as I go!! T sat & watched me today so I concentrated on 1 job at a time
