It's the wood pigeons that annoy me, there were always loads where I grew up. Thankfully none where I am now though!

I love the birds tweeting in the garden, just not at 5.30am

I do find it relaxing during the day though. I have some nesting tits (no laughing at the back) in my box that must of just hatched too

I always loved bird song, and then so_eone pointed out to me that it's basically birds yelling "FANCY A SHAG" and "COR NICE PLUMAGE, LOVE" at each other, maybe punctuated by a bit of "GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY TREE, STEVE!"

And now I get the giggles every time I hear it....

What I find annoying is having a morning erection and having nowhere to put it. I just lie in bed, playing with it and listening to the birds.

Seagulls aren’t birds. They’re rats with wings.

A report I read was saying the rise in magpie population is a small part in the reduction of song birds..there has been a significant rise in the scavenging, hunting birds the main being the magpie going after eggs etc. The song birds population is partly reducing because people are keeping their land and gardens too tidy..burning fallen wood and leaves etc and removing dead trees. The national Trust started to leave dead trunks standing and wood clippings etc stacked in order to increase insect activity so providingredients more food for songbirds...maybe that was a heavier longer post than it should have been lol

Seagulls are incredible. They have moved inland as weve pinched all their fish. Sea gulls, Herring Gulls, Black back gulls and Lesser black back gulls are amazing. Oh I forgot black headed gulls lol

Don't worry, they'll all be dead soon from starvation with no junk food to scavenge from bins cos nobody is about. They'll have to relearn feeding naturally again!
