Their love is epic especially in Return of the Jedi, they lived happily ever after for over 30 years (my 30 years lol) then some idiot writer destroyed their love and gave them a nutjob for a son. Broke my heart, its not how it should have ever been written.

I think Darth Vader takes the worst father ever award.

Gets his wife pregnant, she dies. He joins a strange cult and fucks off for twenty years to become a mass mudering enforcer not once paying a penny in child support or making a single phone call on their birthday.

Then one day he shows up again, kid naps his daughter and blows up her home planet. He gets into a lasersword fight with his son and chops his arm off.

Case closed.
