"Grabs the tinfoil and popcorn " And why not lol, I'd rather think about this kind of thing given the situation across the world. Why would it be considered hard to believe that governments would engage in this sort of thing?

"I may not have all the info correct for those more knowledgeable among us feel free to clarify. 1. The opt out for organ donation if you should die is due soon. 2. Your at present only option online dialogue with your GP practice is part now part of a national surveillance register that monitors diseases and illnesses. 3. Covid-19 at its most serious point causes organ failure. 4. Is organ harvesting big business? 5. Could you now in this present climate be knocked off without too much fuss by 'official powers'? 6. What does testing for Covid-19 prove? 7. The military hospital at the Excel in London is it all legit? 8. I'm not writing this to scaremonger or take the Mickey but to seriously consider where links could be used destructively. " Not scaremongering? Really?

"I don't know how this is scaremongering? Has anyone on here watched the news recently? A conspiracy that the UK Government is setting up a hospital to harvest organs is scaremongering." Ah, okay. I'm not sure OP said that is what actually happening. As with any "conspiracy", should be taken with a large pimch of salt.. I'm more concerned about legislation being rushed through that will essentially, in future, rid people of civil liberties and privacy.

"If you are tested for Covid-19 does that somehow make you immune to catching it in the future? What does all the gathering of numbers of those tested solve? " Large data sets are required for research into any virus to yield significant results. Therefore in order to build up valid and reliable theories about infection control scientists need to gather as much data as possible across a wide demographic

We must ensure these are not eroded to the point where A could lead to B to C and onwards without anyone blinking.

It would be nice if that point was put across more.

Well, I'm afraid to say, (and I'm not trying to scaremonger) that a crisis like this is the perfect time for this to happen. People (sheeple) will welcome with open arms.... But then again, what the fuck do i know

I understand lots of people are very anxious about this strange new experience And the uncertainty created by an unprecedented global incident is unsettling. Remember the experts are also learning as they go so sometimes they won’t have the right answer or the right way to articulate what they are doing- it doesn’t mean they have evil intentions. I come from a people that have in quite recent historiy been notably mistreated. There are others too I acknowledge that. Because of that I most certainly have to be aware of possible trends.
