Tension

So I’m relatively new here but I feel that on some of the threads here tensions are building the longer we get in to the lockdown period and cabin fever sets in and people are missing meets and clubs.

It’s going to be a difficult time for a while yet and there’s no end date in sight and may not be for some time. Maybe it’s time to properly support each other and pull together rather than pushing each other away??? It’s ok to challenge people’s views but challenge the view not attacking the person.

If anyone is struggling with lockdown message me I’d be happy to chat and offer support if and when I can.

Tension everywhere, fab, Facebook, Insta and Twitter. Everyone wants to air their opinions. Hopefully all will find hobbies or something constructive to do with their time in the next few weeks

It's the nature of the Internet, some are real and don't put a act on, and some are themselves.. It's a mixed bag, as the majority of forum users are lovely, but there are a minority that act and enjoy whining, whinging and moaning.. It is what it is to me, I knowww who's a laugh and who isn't

Good how scruffy folk judge clean folk for germs. A trans girl I know told me yesterday how she’d had a go at someone who coughed on her in the supermarket. What’s wrong with people

I work in mental health and can see a spike in suicide rates but those won’t get shown as the death toll of corona will out shadow it unfortunately. If any is feeling that way and reads this message me

Some might be cracking already. Aftermath will be very challenging for mental health services.

I think you are going to be very busy, and the financial fallout for a lot of people is massive, why could we not just have a universal income level, like what Labour wanted now, I don't trust the tories with the nhs at all, I certainly did not vote for them, they are a bunch of self serving hypocrites, when after years of austerity and penny pinching we face a crisis and the cracks show. How many people now wish they had voted for real change with Labour?

Social media is as much a curse as a blessing..I thought people would use it to stay strong, to communicate in a lighter way to ease the situation but instead it seems people are just reproducing the fear and ranting at others..so sad..it's like many now see social media as a right to judge others and have their say. This is the only place I hang out now online.
