So who else will be giving a clap for the NHS and it’s workers at 8pm tonight to celebrate all they’ve done so far in fighting coronavirus?

maybe some are more reserved when it comes to showing appreciation Some don’t like to make a song and dance about things yes I’m one of them that didn’t clap or whistle or set fireworks of but it doesn’t mean I don’t Appreciate the work the staff at the nhs are doing

Amongst other key workers, the cleaners making sure that what you touch doesn't kill you, the carers looking after our elderly, the bin men, the specialists that take all the clinical waste to incineration, the police for keeping us safe, the fire service, the list is endless, it's quite amazing when you think about just how many key services it takes to prop up a country.

I'll second that. I too am that type of person. Each to their own, no disrespect at all. Utmost respect to anyone working to sort this.

The people on all the news outlets telling the world they bought their neighbour milk and expect a Nobel peace prize that are making me cringe just a little.

It was a breath of fresh air to hear so many nearby showing their appreciation.

We will all come into contact with these amazing people at some point in our lives and they need our support more than ever.

It’s great to see big companies throwing their weight behind them too.

Remember this in years to come.
