Have you made a will?

I made one when my divorce came through in my mid 30s. My father died young without making one, despite knowing his illness was terminal. He just didn’t want to face the reality back then I guess. It was complicated for my Mum to sort it all out.

Yes. Sorry, you're not in it..

On a more serious note, if you die intestate, it's a nightmare for your executors to sort stuff out, especially if the estate is complicated.

You're not doing it for you, you are doing it for the loved ones you leave behind.

Anita made a will for me, not sure what it says but sure it'll be fine... certainly I won't contest it if I die.

"Anita made a will for me"

Not sure making a will for someone else is legally valid.

I have a will. Very simple. Everything split equally between my four children and my funeral is what ever my eldest chooses.

Put one in place a few years ago. With the business and houses etc it seemed sensible that everything was laid out just in case. Not something you want to think about really but it’s the right thing to do.

I'm free to go into anyone's will for when the time comes.
