I’ve just shoved a chicken in the slow cooker, I rubbed some cream cheese mixed with paprika and garlic on it and added carrots and potatoes so let’s see how this goes

5 hours on low, then turn it upside down and cook on high for an hour

Lamb is amazing out of a slow cooker. I just rub a leg or shoulder piece with garlic butter, sit it on some potatoes and add a glug of whatever wine I have.
