"I'm struggling to take a break for lunch" Yeah it’s silly things like that I’m struggling with too. We have started a wee album listening party at 1pm each day and have a wee chat around it. Somebody picks what they deem to be a classic album and we all start it at the same time.

"I work from home - the problem is that dad has been on holiday this week so he is like having a 6 year old at home. Only 2 more days left. I can’t wait to he goes back to work - tho worried as he is nhs " In answer to question - I book lunch in my diary, and make sure I don’t work to many extra hours. What I am finding is the lack of lack of human interaction. We still talk as a team but moving to a remote job I miss the laugh and joking

"Are you struggling to get any sort of routine in place just now? " Yes but I’m sure it’ll get easier. Just can’t associate work with home

"Are you struggling to get any sort of routine in place just now? Yes but I’m sure it’ll get easier. Just can’t associate work with home " This. I’ve spent 20 years compartmentalising home and work and getting the balance right. This week that went to rat shit in one day. My other issue is the space and distractions. Not enough space, too many distractions

"I'm struggling to take a break for lunch" This!! I find myself stuck on constant video calls and then get so little actually done in the morning, that I keep going and suddenly it's 3pm and not had lunch. I'm used to working at home one or two days a week, but recently it's been hard. I get up normally, have a shower, eat breakfast and get fairly properly dressed, otherwise I can't get into the mindset.

"I will admit I am having a complete nightmare! I am on a sofa, with heaps of cushions behind me but hunched over a coffee table working with a laptop with existing back problems and it is KILLING me! I'm more at risk of OD'ing on pain meds than Covid-19! I personally need to be in the office even though I know I can't! But I can't see how I can keep this up! " Also this too. At work I have a saddle chair and a raised height desk. Or I'm in my wheelchair. I don't have anywhere for a raised height desk, so couldn't use the saddle chair at home and my wheelchair doesn't really fit in the house. I'm sitting on my spare wheelchair cushion on the rocking chair to work and I've had so much more pain recently

My work has spelled out they are not expecting a 7.5 hours day, but we have financial timetables to try and adhere to, just don't know how I can pull my weight

"The best place recently has been on my garden table sat in my wheelchair but to get it in the house, it's needs to be taken to bits, lifted up etc and it doesn't fit through doorways when assembled. I have a decent desk but not a suitable chair I can sit in and my saddle chair really only works when raised to semi standing height. Our work desk is screwed into the living room wall so not really removable to replace with a raised height desk. I'm the same with needing to meet deadlines. S is mainly working standing up but I can't do that sadly " Bless I feel for you! sadly different circumstances but alas the same pain threshold. We just need to keep saying what we can and cannot do!

" Pain is pain, no matter what the cause. Somewhat ironically, I like the kinky sort of pain, but anyone who got off on this would frankly be very weird!! It's the indefinite nature of how long we'll be at home?? Could be months and months and quite frankly, I won't be physically able to do very much if this continues. I'm sure you feel the same Spent the majority of today lying on bed (less pain) and the rest in the garden in my chariot

" I haven't got my saddle chair though, it's locked away in the now closed office 16 miles away. It cost my employer about £700 too so not an easy home purchase. Unfortunately I cannot stand up to work due to disability.

"I'm struggling to take a break for lunch" Up to now, I've been working from home one day a week for about 5 years; they are my most productive days, no distractions, I can fully focus and get really involved with my work. I rarely stop for lunch and often do 10 hours days as I don't want to stop. WFH full time is odd though as I miss some of the office interaction and a lot of my work has dried up as others (who don't WFH much) are struggling to get into it - I need their outputs to do my stuff.

"I have been working from home for the last 20 years , welcome to my world, you will not want to go back !! " I'm absolutely desperate to go back! Give me my commute into Manc, give me my colleagues physically there, my students in front of me, the lady who brings us a biscuit at 11am, the chats by the photocopier and give me my saddle chair!!
