There's only so long before watching porn and wanking becomes boring.

But I'll give it a few more years.

I've had a great day. I got lots of worky stuff done, I did zumba, I found Tesco a dream this afternoon, I had a great dinner and wine with my family... oh and a new tv. I'm actually liking this (apart from people being ill and shit).

"with so much time on my hands I've been cruising fab"

How do you ever end up with too much time on your hands? How can there be nothing to do? Are other people so on top of absolutely everything with no interests that they really have lots of spare time??

I’ve been to work, walked and shopped for some elderly, made soup from leftover veg, had a bath and now watching telly

Spent time with my girls and the pets. Had a workout outside- hindered by the puppy. Went shopping and had to ask a manager at a store to please let me buy a non essential toilet seat from a closed off aisle as my Autistic daughter ripped mine off the toilet and smashed it. As well as the mirror, bathroom cabinet and bin. They said no at first, but then realised that a toilet seat is fairly essential- lol, I could still buy a mirror and as many scented candles as I like though. So been sorting my bathroom out. Joys of social isolation when you don’t understand why x

But I managed to get the same seat so yay! My bathroom remains like Liberace chose the decor, so not all doom and gloom, lol x

I have actually come across people so scared of free time they constantly mess the house up without realising so they spend lots of time doing unnecessary housework and keep busy with jobs and tasks they don't enjoy . I guess it’s a kind of reality avoidance. Someone very wise once said to me, all the things on you're to-do list. It’s useful to remember the most important one is missing - remember to deal with the quality of the present moment.

It is a rarity for me, what with working full time. Being an active grandparent and ensuring my dad who has alzheimer's is ok. Running a house..you know the usual but today I had to much time on my hands or so it felt. The garden and house work all done, so today I have done nothing but chill.

I got up, walked the dog, cleaned out the car, planted some tomatoes, hoovered, washed up, made a pie for the freezer and cut the grass. Not much really

Do you have time to do a re-count ? If not no problem but I’m curious to know if you missed one

This is what I can't fathom. I spend a lot of time not really doing much... just chilling with the family etc I get annoyed when I have chores to do so I avoid them as much as possible. I guess having too much time just doesn't ever become an issue for the inherently lazy! I love my down time too much!!

What’s scary is how the hell do you even try and organise 100s of random single items of varying shapes and sizes? Man draw mess is as organised as practically possible

Its weird to realise there is no push to actually 'do'anything now. I sunbathed punctuated by hanging out some laundry, chatting to the kids, seems they are quite nice people, more sunbathing, peeled spuds. Life will busy back up soon enough.

On a mooch

Home schooling..... frustrating, eureka moments and laughter when realised I have to film his PE lesson

It’s a blessing and a joy to spend so much time with him, although strained at times, after working all his life.

Making the most of it, memories being created
