i loves them but have an adverse reaction on me

And made the mistake of having loads today, forgetting i have a sexy monday evening planned

Hubby loves them but I hate the windy problem he gets after eating them

Its really bad so I only let him eat them over christmas as a treat!!

I like them quartered and stirred fried with other vegetables.

I also like them quartered and microwaved for about 40s with a drop of oil and a pinch of salt.

Just don't like them boiled till they are greyish greeny coloured!

Small pinch of bicarb in the water and they dont go that horrible colour

I prefer mine with onion and chestnuts mixed into them.

I love sprouts as well but dare not eat them for the same reason as you. I remember meeting one couple who had prepared a lovely roast dinner including sprouts before we played. I left mine on the side of the plate rather than spoil the evening lol

Love em' but not boiled to a pulp. Love em with diced bacon and chestnuts at Christmas too, yum. Almost bought some for todays dinner but had babycorn and carrots instead

They are great with Xmas dinner. Also dipped in marmite!

As for your gas problem just copy and paste Peter Griffin from Family Guy's tactics. Cough really loud as you break wind to mask it. As for the smell tell him your dog/cat did it. If you have neither then say your house is haunted by a cat/dog ghost that did it

After being forced to endure them, when my parents mistakenly tried the idea of "If we make him eat them, he'll like them" and wouldn't let me leave the table until every last stone cold one of them was eaten.

Now the merest hint of them makes me want to hurl

I love em too so long as they are not overcooked!!!

And as for the adverse reaction - that should be gone by the evening - so hey - you will wake up feeling bloated, and by the evening be feeling SO slim and super sexy!!!!
