we had a 'family' gathering (with the ex's side of the family who are Japanese) in a posh place in Singapore ....

the waiter displayed the Roast Duck they would be carving so daughter and I though we'd be in our element 9sod the rest of them - we're gonna demolish that bird) ...

but when they returned with the plate it was ONLY the crackling !!

Suffice to say; the next day the pair of us walked the streets of Singapore til we found a BigMac !

each with either chips or fried rice

Ooooh, our last order was...

Salt and pepper chilli chicken,

Duck in ginger and spring onion,

Egg fried rice

but we've been known to get crispy shredded chilli beef and singapore noodles a LOT in the past lol
