Hero or Reckless??

Before I start , for those of you that haven't seen it on YouTube, you must watch this and decide for yourself.

In Hitchin over the weekend Tommy Robinson went shopping with his kids .

On his way back he spotted a group of young cretins verbally abusing , spitting , and deliberately coughing over an elderly couple for a laugh . One of them had actually punched an 80 odd year old lady in the face , giving her a black eye .

Upon seeing this going in , Tommy swiftly got out of his car and laid into the lads , an almighty fracas started .

Eventually they fled , and after interviewing the couple and the old lady , he called the police .

But my question is this ( and you really must watch it to decide ) , is he a hero for this ,, or was he reckless as he had his young kids in the car with him??

Wouldn't surprise me if it was all a set up

But if it wasn't, then standing up to bullies is never a bad thing.

(opinion going purely by your post. I'm not watching anything with him in it)

I’m sure he does some good things occasionally, he probably smiles to his postman and everything.

However he’s got to where he is by pedalling hate so his net score is still firmly in the negative. If he used his position to say that racism was a bad thing, that would be a start.

Is what you described a heroic act? No, it’s just doing the right thing. A heroic act is a lot more than that, even in these days where someone who brings a packet of crisps to a party is a “legend”

I doubt the police are ever more than 2 minutes away from Tommy Robinson
