My female on here has seen more than normal for simply declining any meets for the foreseeable.

Sorry to hear that... We have had nasty messages but it usually follows us saying we don't meet outside of clubs, usually involves insulting our body size. Just block and move on, or report of they are particularly nasty messages

Definitely a lot more messages so I suppose the % of weird and nasty ones is the same in the end, just seems more. Add to that most of us are rather tense and feeling uncertain atm- explosive and not always in a good way.

I've never understood why someone would be abusive online and social media. Bet more than half wouldn't say those things to your face.

It's more annoying when someone says something snide them blocks you, that really boils ma piss.

I’m fairly new (on this profile at least) so still learning how how it goes but yes I was left a bit shocked the other day when a guy told me I was rude for not replying to him. He didn’t use my hidden word in my profile so I didn’t open the message. He then messaged again in response to a status I put up not being very nice. I deleted the thread but I wish I’d reported it now cos really he was just an asshole

There's a Ricky Gervais video about people offended with things that aren't aimed at them. It would appear there are a few in this thread that could do with fucking watching it. If something isn't fir you, just ignore it, simple as that, but to go out of your way to message someone and insult them is just stupid, really is.

I never did that. I usually ignore the things I don’t like but when I get a private message about something I don’t like I answer it. Some people should mind their own business

Judging by the way some people act in the directing room, a lot of people think they're entitled to a reply

There's probably a mix of loneliness and desperation which has led to an increase in these sorts of messages (That doesn't justify it though).

I've definitely had a lot more messages recently - I think sex can be a great distraction and it's nice to connect with someone and look forward to potentially meeting. I can't say I get abusive messages ever really but I hope you're okay OP. Filter up to get through the next few weeks - obviously what they are sending isn't right but you can do something to help minimise the amount.
