Will your dog wreck your house on lock down?

Boris trying to bring in total lock down!

If he does what dog do you have and will it wreck the house due to no exercise or will it be OK if we go into total lock down.

Ill start.

I have a mongrel who will be OK running around the garden as she is small.

Big dog owners are you worried?

My daughter got a puppy last week for her birthday, as our dog passed away, so it will still need walking. I’m lucky as where I live it’s only a short way to lanes and a massive park area. He’s a three month old border collie so a little live wire x

I have a Staffordshire bull terrier that is that chilled it's like he's just smoked an eighth on a bong. He gets to go in the garden and i still walk him late at night when there is no one about.

I was back home by 7am and live in the middle of nowhere. It’s rare I see anyone when I’m out with my 4 dogs.

Total lockdown doesn't mean you can't leave the house.

You can still walk your dog, go to supermarkets etc etc.

Its essentially the same situation we are currently in only its mandatory not advisory.

You'll be penalised for being outside without good reason. That's about the difference.

I'm lucky we have plenty of land for them to play on, my younger dog a collie cross loves being outdoors and spends a lot of time running round my gardens, my boy a full border collie won't go outside unsupervised and is quite happy to do his business and return inside

Feel the pain if the dogs are energetic. Mines happy to sit in her bed all day and then run around the garden for 5 mins.

I'm just back from a 4 mile walk with my dog. The amount folk that were just out walking or cycling is scary. A lot of elderly folk too!

My dog is fine to be left on his own, he used to chew letters up when he was a youngster but grew out of it.. He gets plenty of walks a day and he loves socialising with other dogs and people as well as walks in the middle or nowhere

My hound goes out twice a day, in the morning with myself, and the kids in the evening, so we all get our once a day

Sadly he's getting on a bit, so he's only up for a gentle jog, rather than a 10 mile run as he used to in his younger days

I'll be walking mine at least twice a day. We live fairly rurally so I won't see anyone. Won't be able to work from home with a big dog staring at me and batting my arm every other minute!
