How many of you actually read the profile bio part???

I love it when someone actually takes the time to write what they’re after on here. Makes things so much easier to see if you’re after the same things.

When I am meeting I don't put what I am looking for as I've had too many say they can but actually physically can't, so I stick to looking for personalities and play the long chat game instead to find what I want

I love opening a profile and seeing a lot of text.

I waffle on in my own and it may well put some people off. However a meet will be 90% talk anyway, so if someone can’t take 5 minutes to write their profile, it’s not a good indication of whether they have much substance in person.

I'll read them to an extent. If it looks like war and peace with massive lines listing off all the negative stuff I lose interest quickly.

Plus any profile with the idiotic "fab swingers is now a publically traded entity...." Spiel is an instant turn off

Always,..it's the polite/right thing to do..

Can't say it's always reciprocated however, If someone has looked at me /winked(on rare occasions) my default is always that they've read my profile, more often than not it's not the case but hey ho. I've read theirs in the least part

It's a three stage process for me, mostly: Pics are normally first, then if proceeding, a quick scan of the profile text to see what type it is (one word? ranty? incomplete? well formatted? light hearted? etc); if the profile text scan passes, the whole thing gets read, of course.

I'm more interested in who the person is and if we are sexually compatible to if they wanna fuck me or not.

I always read a profile before even considering sending a message. It’s ever so disappointing when you see a profile that really captures the imagination, only to be foiled by age parameters. Lol x

I read the bio, I'm curious about the person and once you get past the rather generic, formulaic stuff it's interesting how people present themselves. I do think describing *too* much about what you're wanting can lead to people deliberately tailoring their messages to try and appeal to what you want - I prefer naturally finding out what someone likes and if I click with someone (or not as the case might be).

I don't, because I'm not necessarily looking for one set thing, and what that thing is might vary from person to person - the first step for me is finding them physically attractive enough to want to get jiggy, so I look at pictures first. I'll then read their profile mainly to see if there's anything in there that puts me off. If all is good on that score I'll chat and see how things develop narurally

I do enjoy reading a good bio

But I won't lie, a short bio is great! The ones that turn into a novel, with the outlook of being turned into a film epic, can be a bit tooooo much saving something for the chat keeps it exciting
