Now that the gyms are shut I really have no idea what to do with my life.

I find myself commonly looking at the walls or my phone for no reason.

Walking in circles in my house and doing press ups every once in a while.

I now have loads of energy I used to spend in the gym (2-3 hours a day)

And nowhere to direct it.

Any ideas what i can do to fill up my time and waste energy.

Plan a bodyweight program to do every day at home. Lots of exercises and routines that can be done outside of a gym environment

Yeah I can do bodywieght and I have been I have some dumbbells aswell.

But I need heavy weights for chest, back and legs.

I suppose I just have to suck it up and get on with it but I'm having withdrawal symptoms atm lol.

Lol @ running. I'll end up getting chased by the police. They'll think I'm infected

Put some weights on your back..rucksack or somethING similar..find a good steep hill and just fast walk..not run..fast walk..until you re hanging outta your ass as we used to say. Stick music on and dance hard and long or exercise to the different beats. Find a good tree for chin ups etc..loads of ways..beats paying for a membership and good fresh air if outdoor.

Get a rucksack and put 4x 2l bottles of water in and use it as weights. There are a lot of outdoor gyms in parks, if it's safe to use them, you could always wear gloves?

Order a door bar and do pullups etc.?

Beer kegs? See if you could get some..or nip and see about some large tyres? Flip them in the garden??

I'm going to be lost without lifting... its therapy for me as well as a routine and focus.

I've a few home gym items and a spin bike but it isn't the same

Yeah you understand. Not quite like lifting heavy wieghts and gettin that much loved post-pump.

I've ordered some dumbbells for biceps and triceps but I guess I'm gonna have to try my best to conserve muscle whilst all this pandemic is going on. Hopefully this doesn't go on for to long

Chest is going to hard, for back you can do pull ups on a park , for legs google the steepest hills and sprint up them

Get outside , local park or canal , it’s dry out there today , just going to go out and run into Birmingham along the canals , blast some songs out and clear my head , then leg it back
