I know trends do follow media driven trends, but when did the pre-pubescent shaved look start and more importantly why?

Any ideas why, fabsters?

80s porn I think. No hair gives a better view of the action.

I think you're right but why, as free thinking adults, it's engulfed us as now normal?

Porn is probably the right answer, I for one am pleased it's the case, I much prefer smooth or very limited hair to 'o natural'.

That is a school of thought OP that one of the reasons is because men like younger women.

I'm quite sure that no pubic hair has been so immersed into our psyche now that we don't consider it to be the case. But when you think about if it's a bit grim.

Which is why I have some. Not a lot, but some.

Unfortunately I think I agree, sad isn't it that we seem to have got to this stage!

Merkins have been around since the 15th century so I guess shaving started a while back....

Fashions come and fashions go.

There is a brilliant picture on line showcasing womens' pubes from the 70s all the way up to thew present day.

In parallel to mens' facial hair from clean shaven all the way up to hipster chin topiary.

Shaved is definitely the norm now. You’ve only to watch Naked Attraction to see that.

Personally I’m glad. I love the sight of a bare pussy and it has nothing to do with wanting younger women. In fact I prefer an older woman. And it’s so much nicer licking a guy’s balls if they’re not covered in a forest of hair

So why do some women like clean shaven men, beard and pubes?
