Why is it when you go to funerals, you always revert to memories of childhood?

I was at my uncles funeral this afternoon, and aunties spoke to me about how ive changed since i was a boy, bloody hell that was 40 years ago.

Mind you i did think back to the stovies one of my aunts made.

What have you thought about at funerals?

Having.....ANEL.......with my sister in law at brothers funeral.

But I shouldn't mention that here, the place goes fucking mental!!!!

Not been to many but usually the inevitable family catch up, and memories which can be quite enlightening.

I looked at your avatar as I was reading your post and thought, "Fuck me, your Auntie must have been shocked to remember a little boy only to have been confronted with those glorious puppies" - then I realised who was posting.
