So will the majority of flights being grounded and pubs closing I am stumped for ideas of how to spend my 40th. Anyone got any sensible suggestions on what I could do.

Host a party at home?

Alcohol and prepared meals on plates rather than a buffet to minimise cross infection?

Durham, North Yorkshire and can travel

Bake yourself a big cake and enjoy eating it, then celebrate it fully later in the year.
