Yorkshire puddings

Durham, North Yorkshire and can travel

Traditionally it is roast beef and Yorkshire puddings but we have them with all roast dinners, be it chicken, lamb etc and also have them with mince, sausages etc.

How you do you have your pudds?

I sometimes just eat them as a snack with a wee bit of butter.

i don't generally have them they take up too much room on plate so I'd miss out on the good stuff

My mum always did 4 Yorkshire puddings with gravy as a starter before having a roast beef dinner for main, so I always do the same now.

Does anyone else do this?

I have them in the freezer in case I can't get bread ops

That has taken us right back to our childhood. Love them as a starter. Don't think it's very common these days.

2 with gravy for starters, 1 with your dinner and then however many you have room for with jam for dessert. Can you tell I'm a proper yorkshire lad
