couple, us we him her.

You go to the shop lovingly pick a nice card take it to the till hand it to the cashier.

Pay for it out it in a bag full of other stuff.

Get home write on it, put a stamp on it.

Post it

It then gets handled by God knows how many people before it plops onto mum's hall through letterbox.

She opens it handles it, touches her face....

Just a thought

This is my train of though also OP. Instead I've told my mum I'll give her something special once things get better and we are no longer encouraged to cut down on socialising or self isolating. On Sunday I will face time her and show her the card I have bought her and read her the nice message imma write.

The best thing anyone can do for their mother for mothers day atm is probably to stay away

North Bucks

I am hand delivering a card to my step mum. I’ve told her I’m no way should she be going out to see her grandkids. Hard but needed.

Does that mean it's safe to put a fiver in a card for a few weeks?

By pig. No coronavirus, but there's a chance of swine flu.

I'd love to be able to send my mum a card or just to see her.

Do none of you make an effort and actually visit on mother's day?

I have for many years. But she has never traveled to come see me. Even when I had her first granddaughter I had to travel to her. Some mum's don't deserve it red.

Fair enough distance can be an issue.
