Mate I hope it gets better for you it's horrible not having a club to watch still so much infighting going on too! Covid19 could actually get us a reprieve though if the league is called Null and void!

I think it might be a while before we see football again, I just can’t see how the season can be completed. Then you consider cricket and Wimbledon etc, sport in 2020 may as well be written off.

I feel a slight sarcasm in your tone ? But when you have kids and one of them is talented and from the age of 6 to now 16 and he’s playing semi pro football you’d maybe understand the commitment and dedication it takes to get to were he is.

I like a bet on the football, so in order to keep things as normal as possible I think I will pop along to the bookies and hand over some money , which is basically what I do every week as I never win

Was looking forward to watching my team having three games this week!

Football will not restart for a long time. Already pissed off with the self-serving greedy thoughts of some Premier clubs. My thoughts go to the lower leagues, and to all the suppliers and venues that rely on the football trade.

Even though l live in Ireland I did say if l won the Euromillions I'd save Bury ,l personally thought it was a disgrace that the English FA let that happen and more so, millionaire footballers that say " they love the game " to sit by and do nothin' and let a club like Bury ,steeped in the tradition of football and twice FA Cup winners ,sink into oblivion ,a utter disgrace ,l'm a United fan since wayyyyyyyyyy back btw.

What with no football or sport of any kind I found myself chatting to the missus over the weekend. I was surprised to learn that she’s lost her job at Woolworths.

Where would that end though? Every club that gets into financial difficulties in the future would expect the wealthy clubs to bail them out. Where’s the incentive to run a football club within its means?

Some smaller clubs could go to the wall over the next few months as their revenue streams have dried up, hopefully the football authorities will apply some common sense and not apply points deductions.

Agree with your last sentiment but how are the Premier League clubs being greedy in this instance ?

Executives of West Ham and Aston Villa wanting the season to be voided.

Funny how they are saying that as relegation from the honey pot is imminent!

Visiting Blackpool

No doubt the footballers are still get their (up to) hundreds of thousands of pounds a week. Meanwhile Virgin staff are asked to take 8 weeks unpaid leave. Oh to be a footballer or a manager.
