yer dont get one I've kept nearly every reptile your allowed to keep in the uk over the last 25 years Iggy's in my opinion are one reptile that's shouldn't be available in the pet trade and should only be kept by very knowledgeable keepers that understand there needs and breeding behaviour I really don't want to put you off getting one but they really are not for the faint hearted

I'd love a pet Otter. Got really close with a family of wild Otters years ago.... they would swim around me within a couple of meters while I was fishing. Watched them raise their kits and everything. They stole a few trout from me, but overall it was just an incredible privilege to be accepted by them.
