Doug Stanhope just announced his autumn UK tour. Sooo glad he's not retiring... But very few people in the UK know who he is... So who's you're favourite stand up?

I worked a comedy club for years and my favourite at the moment is the Raymond &Timpkins revue

They have been about a while but just won the comics comic awards. You have to watch it to understand they are certainly unique.

Been watching a couple of standup shows on Netflix. Donald Glover's is amazing, people might know him as Childish Gambino who did the This is America song last year.

Also ones from Michael Che and Pete Davidson are good as well

Of all time Dave Allen, saw him live and filming his TV shows.

Bob Monkhouse was easily the fastest witt ever.

Prefer the likes of McIntyre, Carr and Ranganathan out of today's crop.

Got to agree here Dave Allen tops the list for me . Bob Monkhouse in late night cabaret was the quickest and dirtiest (with class )I have ever seen . RIP to them both.

Wow, there are some excellent names in here. Really have enjoyed Burt Kreischer. I see he's got a new one on Netflix this week too.

Yesterday in a d*unken stupor I watched the new Marc Maron one, and also Fred Armisens StandUp for Drummers. Best Drumming based standup I've ever seen...
