If you are going to have sex with someone then I doubt it will just be the kissing that will make you catch it so keep smooching.

I'm pretty sure that if you're close enough to have sex then wether you kiss or not wont increase or decrease your chances of catching corona.

Nooo you can't!

An amazing passionate kiss, is the best part of foreplay.

Especially when you look into they're eyes, brush they're hair back and tell them how long you've been waiting for this moment.. you cant beat that feeling.

Rant time....

Firstly it isn't Coronavirus it's Covid-19, the media have termed it Coronavirus but that's a group classification not a specific virus. This is the first pointer that the media are, yet again, giving out bad information to people.

The biggest impact this will have on the majority of people is that it will hit them financially due to the over reaction of the governments around the world.

The economy and small to medium businesses will take a massive hit.

The vast majority of people that contract Covid-19 will feel crap for a few days and will then recover and be fine. Older people and those with underlying health conditions will be the ones most affected (I am speaking as being in that group).

I feel that if it was put into context then people would quickly realise that more people die of cancer, heart diseases, seasonal flu and many more pre-know illnesses or conditions than of Covid-19.

The media has created hysteria and governments have reacted in accordance with the resulting public perception. I'm not trying to trivialise the situation but when seen in context the negative impacts of the media and government actions as well as individual fears will have a bigger impact on us all than Covid-19 alone ever could.

Rant over.

the media have i agree created hysteria although I've been staying in Devon for 2 weeks and no sign of hysteria here and a lot of the older generation here but everyone is going about their routine as normal

Probably because the population are older and more sensible than in other areas of the country. Supermarket shelves are empty around here and there's no chance of buying toilet rolls

I think that there are around 66 million people in the UK, the current mortality rate is about 0.93% so if we take a massive assumption that there would be another 1% of fatalities, ignoring that a percentage of those would likely by in the existing 0.93% then we'd lose about 66,000 thousand additional people from the UK population, mainly older people or those with existing health issues.

Cynically, that would save the government a few quid in pension, benefit and health care costs, I'd have thought they'd be all for that...

the 66,000 people you talk of have families one imagines and they would be devastated having said that many will be coming to their time as we will all do, the toilet roll thing is beyond comprehension but ive not needed to buy them in recent times

As I said, I am not trying to trivialise it and would/will have the upmost empathy and sympathy with anyone who loses a family member or friend. I'm in the higher risk group myself but I'm just trying to give an alternative objective view on the situation.
