This morning I received an email from the owner of the supermarket where I get my online shopping from telling people not to panic buy, that they have extra stock arriving and there will be enough for everyone jf people only buy as and when they need it.

I thought what a reallly good email to send out to customers.

Problem is, will people listen?

No. The people panic buying are already aware of the fact they are leaving others short, an email won't make any difference to their selfishness.

Central

It would be good if shops create priority customers waiting lists, with reservations for high demand stuff. Those who have not filled all available space to high heaven with loo roll, pasta etc. Probably not happening just yet, until wartime rationing of stuff happens.

It's a great idea.

Sadly, we have built a society that doesn't operate with community in mind anymore. A highly individualised species now exists.

We need a Bog Roll Greta........

Thankfully where we live it still is community based. People do help each other out in times of need.

Just wait till supplies are gone.....

Changing human behaviours are fascinating.

Truly happy that you do.

I dont think it will change the older generation. We have been part of the community for years. Our area had to deal with the impact of Foot and Mouth which was horrendous. People still all pulled together.
