If you could go anywhere in the world for a holiday, no restrictions financially or otherwise, where would you go, and why would you go there?

I would do australia...

I've been before on a world travel trip but didn't get to see or do as much as I would of liked.

Just how crazy the world must not been - the inventions, discoveries and radical political ideologies would have made that time like no other in human history

Astronomy,evolution, archeology etc.

I must have seemed like every day was an episode of doctor who.

Southport / Ellesmere Port

Australia for me too. More animals that can kill a man there than anywhere else in the world apparently but the country fascinates me.

Oh, so many places. I still want to go to Turkmenistan to see the gates of hell.

But mostly I just like wandering around foreign countries seeing how they live, popping in to local cafe's or peering around residential streets. The less like ours the more interesting it is.

When? The 1970s. Where? Perth, Western Australia. The reason, to go back to my childhood and see my mum again.

This is a bit deeper than I had in my when I asked the original question

Florence in Italy.

The art, the history, and that amazing cathedral.

I went on a day trip once and always wanted to go back and see it properly.

Somewhere ridiculously secluded and it's snowing. Sometimes you just need to take a time out from the human race and I want to build a snowman!

That's because it's one of the best places on earth

It's a big area though, which part is your favourite, and why?
