So good news I’m nearly not diabetic, I have to improve my diet by going on a low carb high protein diet, this is where you buggers come into this I’m a fussy bastard and dont eat much veg dint like bits so I would welcome meal ideas I love meat so ok there it’s the veg but I like mushrooms peas sweet corn

Salmon, sweetcorn and portobello mushrooms with parsley sauce

Slimming world sausages/full pork

Baked beans

Grilled tomato

Mushrooms

Bacon medallions

Poached eggs, you have a healthy "fry up"

Pork loin, sliced up and shallow fry, add in choritzo paste and stir into boiled bulger wheat with veg of choice

Latest research indicates that high fat low carb has a high percentage of diabetic sufferers reversing the condition as you are using fat for energy instead of glucose I want to be healthy apart from my nemesis beer so I’m up for this and you loose weight bonus

My dad was diagnosed last year as boderline diabetic, he’s 74, he has always eaten well, but has limited the spuds & bread intake, he’s lost 3.5 stones, he also is walking miles on a daily basis, but this combination has reversed it.
