I really enjoy chatting to females more than males, the obvious for me is a different insight, I'm just more comfortable and more at ease with the opposite sex. IF the odd bit of flirting arises, of course it's enjoyable.

With sites like this is there always the stigma that something sexual has to be an undertone, if someone messaged you to say

"fancy a coffee Friday afternoon"

honestly, would you be thinking it's just a vain attempt to get their foot in the boudoir door.

On here, yes. It's a sex site. Outside of fab I probably would think it's just coffee.

Probably not the best place to be looking for just a coffee. On one hand as you say, it won’t be taken at face value and if that’s genuinely all you want then she might feel insulted that you didn’t want more.

Yes because in our experience it nearly always is, there has been one exception.

We had a long on line conversation with a guy who began by stressing that he was interested in social interaction only. We agreed to meet him for a coffee. Within hours he switched his attitude and began to talk about getting sexual. So the coffee never happened.

We would love to meet people socially only, to be able to talk freely without that pressure, so far it's happened only once.

A lot of people would think that. I probably wouldn't - it's nice to be able to talk freely and hear another's experiences in this funny old world. I guess it does depend on the interaction though, sometimes you can tell they just see the coffee as a stepping stone into your quim.

I'm 1 who enjoys a cuppa, I met someone from here whos local to my parents. So when I go over there I pop into his for a cuppa and a good natter. I even pop the kettle to make my own when I get there at times

We're perfectly happy meeting purely socially. We may well be open to more but we don't try to make it anything it isn't. We may go with hopes but we don't go with expectations. It's far more likely that somebody will want to take things further if they don't feel any pressure from us.

We hope nobody feels we would only meet them because we want something sexual to happen. We wouldn't want anything like that to happen unless we enjoyed being with them socially in the first place.

However, we also hope that somebody we meet feels comfortable seeing we are interested in taking things in that direction if that's something they would like.

I wouldn’t think that and have thought about similar myself, particularly with people where it obvious that friendship comes first.

As long as you’re not being underhand about it, there’s no need to bullshit you can ask someone for a coffee that you obviously fancy too, without any pressure or expectations

I'm more than happy to have a coffee social without anything sexual going on, in fact I've just got home from doing just that to verify a new couple to fab

Really lovely people and it's a great way of meeting new friends too.

I get that sometimes it may need to be said that it's purely for a coffee if you're reaching out to someone to lend an ear to so I will also make it clear that it is non sexual too.

Sure we're all here for the swinging sexual side but that doesnt have to be the only reason we are here.

I would love a coffee meet to see if I actually like the person in reality.

I think women assume I want to have sex with them ASAP because I've messaged them, but it's not the case.

I'm not sure what the word is for it, but I like getting to know someone before I really want to have sex with them. Otherwise meh I rather have a wank.
