There and to the left a bit

Depends how you define "rejection" OP? In over three years of being on the site I don't think I've been out and out "rejected" once when I've suggested meeting.

I don't think of initial messages being deleted as me being rejected though - more just a sign that based on profile text and pics alone we weren't a good match

I've been rejected.

I don't take it personally. No one is for everyone. There will be people who find you or your profile attractive and then those who won't.

I think I would only class rejection as arranging to meet someone and then after the initial chat and getting to know one another they change there minds. I wouldn't have an issue with it if it happened. Everyone has a type and if it doesn't work out then it's not a problem.

I mean after you've met someone or approached someone in a club, can't count messages as you ladies would be on here 24/7 replying to messages

"You ladies"?

Have you looked at my profile pics?

Either way my initial post stands in over three years I've not been out and out rejected in the way you suggest - I've had meets where a second meet hasn't happened but they've mainly fizzled from both sides rather than it being a conscious rejection

I've been told I'm not someone's type and after meeting someone socially at a club they said they didn't feel any spark between us. I didn't insult either guy or stamp my feet, I accepted that I won't be everyone's type and got on with my life. I still see one of the guys at the club and we always have a chat and a giggle.

I have been told they are not keen on tattoos or they like athletic type women.

No biggie at all,I would only want to sleep with people who found me sexy so rather they told me, never any hard feelings

Somewhere

Ha. Rejection is always part of the game..I’ve been rejected (disconnected from) on another site/app:

For wanting to chat for longer than he wanted to before meeting...

For again wanting to message longer than 10 messages before deciding to meet...

And for distance reasons...

I see it as good thing as it rules out meeting someone who’s not on your wavelength... I love communication and getting a sense of someone prior to meeting and if you don’t want to chat some then you aren’t for me!

I've been rejected on here a few times which is fair enough everyone should be able to say no. Never got mad over it or peeved off. Just said that's fine and have fun.

I tend to have the natural fade away or the move to friend zone, which I actually enjoy as I know where I stand with them, cannot abide ghosting or benching and will not tolerate it.

Never been rejected at the messaging stage but you can’t really call that a rejection. I think to be rejected the person would’ve had to spend time with you, see what you’re about and then decide you’re not for them or they wouldn’t want to see you again.

I had one recently and he said it was distance but it’s only a 10 hour round trip!!

Mrs. Because she was a redhead.

Second time was told she was too old.

And yes, pics had been exchanged before hand.

Good job they were only social meets.

Not rejected as don't really put myself out there but had someone I gave a lot to emotionally and physically put someone new (who ended up not turning up!) Before me. Hence that felt like rejection and I didn't see him again after that.
