I checked and they definitely call it a pie in the UK where we do everything correctly.

Whatever they are, I find them addictive. No expert but I would say it’s technically a pie, a filling incased in pastry.

They definiy call it a pie. They used to do a cherry one also. I suppose it's down to the definition of a pie. Maybe ask Trading Standards however I am not sure anybody is being decieved. Much nicer when allowed to cool slightly.

That filling is served so hot.

Just a bit yes. I have tried adding I've cream unfortunately it didn't do it for me. The I've cream melted too quickly.
