i've just tripped over my laptop charger

now it wont work unless i hold it in place. so have i damaged the end of the charger or the laptop bit...if u get wot i mean

Buy a universal one, dedicated ones are an arm and a leg..

sounds like you may have partially pulled the input fitting from the board this will mean the whole machine will need stripping to re-solder the said fitting to the board £30-£50

NOOOOOOOOOOO go to a bog standard pc shop, mine was 25 quid, where one for my lappy was 80 quid, fekk that

Mine died on me a few weeks ago.. Sony wanted £150 plus p&p

Got a universal one on Amazon for about £18
