Seemed a bit odd, but someone at work said all those 'genuinely afraid' of Coronavirus will mainly have voted 'remain' in the Brexit referendum and not 'leave'. Do we think this is correct? We'll start the survey:

I'm not worried for me, I just assume I'm getting it at some point and I'll be fine. I'm pretty genuinely worried for some family members though. Voted remain.

I think the inference here is that those who are “genuinely afraid” are more likely react according to their ‘irrational feelings’ rather than the facts placed before them.

I voted remain and am not worried.

Not worried, voted remain,mainly fatal to old and people with underlying illness so more likely to effect leavers.

Worried and voted remain obviously in someones world interprets as Snowflake.

Well this proud Snowflake isn't worried despite being in a "more at risk category and voted remain.

I voted remain and I'm not worried though if I'm presented with any proper evidence that changes that I'll be open to changing my mind. As the situation stands, I'm not worried.

Ditto, I was bored to death with the ever ongoing Brexit debacle, and now apparently I can't buy a bogroll for love nor money

But heyho there's gonna be a mass extinction when the next asteroid/meteor smashes our planet to smithereens anyway

Why did they think that anyway? We support the NHS, we support things that benefit the many so that the majority of the country is in peak health, we didn't support leaving something that helped fund all of this.

There was supposed to be an extra £350 million aweek for the NHS when we left (brexited?) but nobody i know believed that and knew it was a lie.

It's great that you're not worried and it's a relief that Brexit is nearly over and we can can all look forward to healing the country and building a sustainable future.

Just curious....do you often start a thread because 'someone at work' said 'something'. I'm not aware of any research on this correlation but I may have missed one of the scientific papers?

Would you have started this thread if someone at work said the same thing about 'leavers'?
