I prefer them to unsolicited messages (and say this on my profile) means I check out their profile and wink back if it's mutual, no complaints here as I love them! It's expressing and interest without having to do the message ... it amazes me the co.plaints regarding messages but then not using the wink facility! Doesn't make sense to me tbh

I like a wink .. it shows interest without being pushy ... if we are winked at and wink back it shows we are interested .. if we wink and someone winks back at us we follow up with a message ..

A better start than some out of the blue messages we've received along the "fancy a fuck" line which we just usually delete or block

I ALWAYS respond to winks or messages - it's only polite - but then as an old fella that's fairly manageable - if you're a female of any ilk then it becomes a little harder - as they can get into the hundreds daily...

I think from a guys point of view they are quite handy I quite often see ladies saying they are pestered by messages off of guys and I hate the thought of someone thinking that of me so a wink back can show that the other party is at least interested in the possibility of starting a conversation
