Today is World book day and children all across the country are dressing as characters from their favourite books.

My question is what character would dress up as.

Not too keen on costumes so my choices are quite 'ordinary', but love their personalities as a kid.

Lucy Borgia, from Goth Girl, I have a tattoo of her on my side, as she’s a character in my lil ones favourite book, or Renna Bales from the Demon Core Cycle books- she’s one of the characters in my back piece xx

I once turned up to my granddaughter's school (on national book day) to pick her up after school whilst I was dressed in my stormtrooper kit.

Mina Harker. Wearing that Victorian style of clothing would be a lot of fun. Plus she is in my top three of female literary characters.

Possibly Frodo because I already have the feet for it.

I work with small children, I and my colleagues dressed up as a character from Chocolate Mousse for Greedy Goose. I was Helpful Pup

I made chocolate scented playdough, had mixing bowls and spoons in the sand, set up my home area with proper kitchen things, as well as animals in the dolls house and a sensory tuff tray with pasta, weighing scales differemt sized containers, was great fun
