I’m assuming that a single guy messaging people pretending to be a woman happens not infrequently.

Certainly if the forums and status updates have are anything to go by.

But, what does the supposed gender imposter get from it?

Is it a case of messaging someone saying that they need them to come and smash their back doors in, then hiding in the corner laughing and thinking, oh my what a jolly jape that was.
