2 of the 3 women I've met had false ages on their profiles, one by 5 years & the other by 10. The latter was to protect her identity from somebody she didn't want to be recognised by so fair enough.

A year or two? Can anyone honestly tell via a photo or even face to face?

I've seen women in their late forties/early fifties that could pass for 38 and men in their forties that could be in their late thirties and likewise some that could easily be 50+.

If you think they're fibbing and that's a deal breaker for you then don't engage with them. If you like what you see then is an accurate age a must?

If the site deleted everyone's age I suspect people would still make decisions on who to meet/contact based on pictures - same as it's always been.

From my experience males and females lie on here. Women contact me stating they are in their twenty’s or thirty’s and they are clearly not!!

It will probably be to get round filters or because once they hit a certain age,their meets decrease.

It's to be expected and is usually the case that they are a few years older than their profile states but when meeting if I like them enough I don't mind, tbh it's a slight turn on when I realise I'm younger than them as they seem to appreciate me more Xx

Personally i dont see the point of lying ... if i claimed to be in my 20s as soon as anyone saw me it would be apparant that wasnt true ... and remembering not to say i have a child at uni is too much trouble

We have played with a wide variety of ages .. from 21 to somewhere in their 60s ..

I would be peeved if i turned up to find a late 40s couple were nearing their 70s ...

With us what we say is what you get.

We've turned for meets and they've been about 20 years older than their profile ages and had used old pictures too - i can't understand it, do they think people will say 'oh well, we're here now crack on' We simply cut the meet short, sometimes not even staying for 1 drink.

I’ve known people who shave 15+ years of their age.

One woman - one of the self proclaimed ‘milfs’ made me smile when she became 10 years younger literally overnight - quite an achievement!

I have a friend whose profile says 50 and he's actually in his 60s. He says when you're over 50 you are doomed anyway so it doesn't matter.

Honesty is the best policy. I’ve turned a meet away before because they’ve blatantly lied about their age and used pictures that do not represent them at all - why lie?

Age is just a number and I tend to find older lovers better anyway

I agree ... I'm 50 but go to the gym and hope i look okish for my age ... did distress me when i tipped over from 49 to 50 as i think that does put some people off ... but their loss not mine Ms H

I think probably because folks are agest with older men and women which is ashamed because they are so experienced super chilled & incredible sexy.

The amount of people that lie is insane! The amount of guys I’ve met that state they are 32-37 but admit to being in their late 40’s and one was even 62 which he only admitted when I met him.

I get changed your age slightly and not wanting to have your exact DOB on here.

A lot of people think oh well they will like me when they meet me or I want the younger age people.. consent matters. When you make big lies like age, relationship status etc you are removing the other persons ability to consent to having sex with. It’s something that law makers are looking at. In several countries laws have recently been changed to include r*pe by fraud and r*pe by deception as crimes.

Men lie on Fabguys for sure. I know someone who does it by 10 years and looks every day of his actual age. I have thought about it myself as I do look younger and no one would really know if I re-entered my 40s and avoid the contact filter a lot of people use there. But I just think I'm honest so stay honest.

Some women may do it with their own age, but I think they are less worried about a man's age than most men are in general. pt

I agree we have met lots of women and they have said they were 30 plus then said later the were in their 20tys but they were in clubs and at parties.
