I'm going to the supermarket now and I'm going to buy lots of flour if they've got any. I know how to and I can make bread, pasta and others. I'm also going to get a whole box of something I won't disclose here. It's edible and last long time.

Not necessarily about panic buying alone. It's tough getting ingredients out of China and Italy right now, port health are also holding more containers up than usual, certain commodities are in relatively short supply in the UK.

But yes, panic buying is a part of that too.

I make to alcohol sprays daily to santitize a lab. For it to be affective we use neat alcohol ie 100% proof and dilute it to ~70%. Vodka to start with is diluted to ~40%. So it would be impossible to add it to make it effective by adding a small amount to a gel unfortunately. You could if you bought rubbing alcohol.

If your looking to avoid contracting this bloody virus thing. Try whiskey. Bathe in it externally and internally.

As for the panic buying of food , face masks and sanitizer

The face masks don’t work other than to stop you spraying mucus and other bodily fluids all over others

The sanitizer only works on 99.9% of bacteria, the 0.01% is corona

Best thing for everyone to do is just carry on as normal. Because if your going to get it your going to get it.

"Most suppliers are now reporting only respirator type mask left in stock

They tend to give better protection

Purchased mine from builder depot a couple of weeks age, but recent information is say mask will not stop people from catching it but assist in spreading it "

Only thing it'll do is stop you from passing it from your hand to your mouth. So technically it can help, also if you sneeze it'll stop you spreading it, well spreading it to others

"Some stores limiting hand wash to two per person..

And are now charging astronomical prices for face masks, some ruthless suppliers will always see profit in others misfortune."

Or ... some ruthless suppliers will always see the profit in others gullibility...
