So - do you feel your age?

Following on from a clear consensus that 80% of us don’t look our age. Do you feel your age?

I don’t in my mind but for the first 10mins each day my body definitely doesn’t want to walk!!

Other parts haven’t seen much difference

Can't feel any other age but definitely do ok for a 52 year old! Though know people way fitter and older ... I'm working on it so feel good!

My mind feels and acts like I'm in my late 20's but everyday my body always acts like I'm 80+ yrs old....

It's a daily struggle between mind and body as to what I can actually do. X

I think we both feel substantially older, although we look younger. Being young parents to a son about to head to uni, plus toddler, full time jobs and managing disability/pain means we definitely feel older. I tried to get a groovy walking stick and wheelchair to avoid looking like granny

yeah there

I don't but then the body keeps reminding you that you are and can't do some of the stuff you could 20 years ago. Or you do and recovery/mending takes longer

But I "feel" 32

No I'm 47 and I still feel like I'm in my early 20's. some days even younger. I get told quite frequently I don't look my age.

What am I supposed to feel !like at 63?

My dad's 93 and he says he feels the same inside that he always has. So I'm going with that, I feel the same as I always have I just give fewer fucks.

You do go back to feeling as you did when a youngster.

It's just that with 40 odd years being worked to death you forget what it was like.

If I've been out for a 12 hour session I can feel 80 for a few days. But if I go a month without a drink I'll feel like I'm 21. With me it's always alcohol dependent.

Not sure how to answer as I dont know how I should feel at my age

However I have a suspicion that as I skip and run often and bounce out of bed with no pains then skip downstairs and run up and down all stairs all times and contort into a number of weird positions to reach awkward spaces

And dont make noises as I stand or move

I'm guessing prob not typical for my age

Personally, thank god for botox! Hahahaha

On a serious note, a lot of people tell me I don't look my rage which I'm happy about

I think it also helps what you eat and exercise to reflect your age.

I'm not sure. In some respects my body does me proud, I run marathons, I'm fitter than many people but illness and injury seem to take longer and longer to recover from. And I get away with far less, late nights, eating poorly, things like that I really notice these days where as a few years back I could take them in my stride

The hardest part is the recovery after a night on it, starts with one day recovery time, as the years progress developing into two to three days recovery,

I'm 50 soon...i feel relatively good and at peace with myself and the world. It won't last lol.

I go to the gym (occasionally haha), dance, make cakes, try to do something new every year... Try to remove negative influences from my life, enjoy new music (dance, trance, electric)...

I generally feel my age when I'm talking to twenty somethings... They don't get my film references

Approaching 55 still love my house and trance, but finding myself enjoying classical when cooking and relaxing.

Had enough negativity to last me a life time,
