Anyone else suffer from these? Every now and again, just as im reaching the point of no return, i get a sudden and very painful headache. Sometimes just lasts for a few moments and other times can last for hours.

Yes I have.

I saw a thread about a couple of weeks ago and was really surprised how many had had them.

Bloody hell, never heard of them but someone who I was with a while back must have had one and looked really bad, scared the crap out of me, I thought I'd broken him. Actually it's a relief to know what it was

What causes them then?

Oh that's a long time.

Mine come on really suddenly, get very intense for a minute or so then go.

An ex of mine used to get them - it's related to blood pressure, if you feel one coming on you need to slow the pace down or take a break and let it clear

Quite often they can be linked to dehydration and raised blood pressure

Thankfully the first was the worst.

Yep suffered from these for a while. Once they started it was really difficult to finish sex. I just backed off and tried some foreplay and seems to have kept them away

Yes I’ve had them. Usually back to normal fairly soon. Really sore at the time though.

There are very easy to learn breathing techniques that you can learn which help brilliantly

I have very low blood pressure and should drink more fluids than normal to help it, but I haven't been drinking enough so put it down to that.

My blood pressures always been fine. Not sure why it happens to me. Only if it’s really really intense though. It’s strange. It’s usually a bad headache though but not for long.

It's because of the sudden raise in blood pressure which can be made worse when coupled with dehydration

They are more common in men apparently. I have had them occasionally and my ex wife got them from time to time.

When she first had one she went to the docs he told her it was caused by an intense orgasm.

Makes sense for me then.

It is a sudden headache that comes as the orgasm builds.

I went really dizzy with it last night though, that's not happened before.
