I love my slow pot cooker. But I always seem to cook the same things.

What do you cook in yours?

Give as much detail as you wish as I need inspiration

Fry onions, Garlic and ginger add cumin, corriander and tumeric, a tin of chopped tomatoes put in a decent piece of brisket and leave for 8 - 10 hours. Shred the brisket and serve in hot pitta bread with garlic butter and coleslaw and chutneys of your choice

Honey and garlic chicken is an easy one if you’re cooking for a few of you.

Pan fry chicken thighs to get some colour on the skin, then put in the slow cooker with ginger, honey, soy sauce, garlic, sriracha and chopped onions for a few hours. Take the chicken out and shred it. Thicken the sauce with cornstarch and throw the chicken back in and mix it up.

It’s super super quick and easy

Greenwich, SE LONDON

Mackerel fillets wrapped around apple slices (held together with toothpicks) and a garlic and tomato sauce.

The apple offsets the fishy tang from the mackerel.

I find lamb chump chops work best. Schwartz Moroccan Lamb mix, chopped onions, garlic, a few handfuls of red lentils, some chopped tomatoes and a sprinkle of parsley. Served with chopped almonds and I generally do vegetable rice with it. Cooked on 'auto' for about 5 hours. Enjoy!

Rice pudding with condensed milk is amazing.

I also do pork in apple cider, venison in red wine, chicken with tarragon and white wine, game stew and the steak n ale filling for my homemade pies
