I'm not sure it's an age thing, just a too many men to women for anyone less than a good looking hunk to really have a chance

The women on here, even the very roughest of them, can have their pick of young men so us older guys can struggle.

Plenty of girls who like an older guy though and I find patience, politeness and not being pushy works well.

Maybe try going to an organised social, it’s a good way to meet people.

Overlooking the wholly derogatory and unnecessary part of that statement, I don't think it *is* quite as simple for ladies as you would suggest - sure on the surface of it the number of men vs women here might make it seem that way, but if you view it from a "quality" angle rather than "quantity" then it changes things significantly.

I have found it easier in the last two years, than I did in the previous 8. I’m now 55. I am able to create more opportunities now than I could when I was younger.

The overwhelming number of men on here as opposed to women means the ladies can indeed pick and chose who they wish to meet.

And I am sure they will always go for quality over quantity but that doesn’t remove the fact the sheer imbalance in numbers means it is most definitely easier for women to find what they want.

Not a moan at all. I'm not like that. Just telling it how it is. Not specifically age related: all that's needed is a Hotmail to set up a pictureless 'woman looking for fun' profile and they'll be hundreds messaging it. Me probably being one of them.

Just saying.

Having said I had three or four (not lots but some) very pleasant encounters with 20something women when I was on on here before.

A short hiatus, back again am unfortunately not having any such luck ATM tbh. Big awwww for me.

It's just numbers.

Say in your area there are 5 women within a mile of you. I bet theres at least 30 guys as well.

One of those is an Adonis.

10 of them are good looking guys

The rest are either average or below what society considers attractive.

You extend that countrywide and it's easy to see why most men do not get much attention

Women come here for fantasy, like us men. But the difference is we just generally sign up wanting a dirty slut and they want their fantasy man.

And fair play to them. And no, I'm not saying all guys just dick anything, but most do.

I just see it as a place to advertise myself and that's all I do. I don't expect anything, I dont get upset because I've had no messages, or no one seems to reply to me.

But it's about finding the small percentage of the people on here who you are their type, or they take an interest in you and you click. Its hard work, especially for guys, chasing, being blanked, teased or just straight messed about or finding nice people but then it fizzled out as you dont click.

Its life, but just keep searching and just be yourself, dont be a creepy guy just after sex and dont expect anything.

It’s nothing to do with age. There are women of all ages here, who meet men of all ages.

I only meet over 50’s and I know several other ladies who are the same.

Try a different approach and concentrate less on how old you are, would be my advice.

I’ve had loads of messages from men in their 50’s but younger than I am, asking if I’d meet an older guy.

The older gentleman I meet are ones who bring something to the table that many younger guys don’t!

They are generally intelligent, good conversationalists, well educated, often humerous - as well as in good shape (for their age) and sexually experienced!

What they lack in a six pack and the ability to pound for hours they make up for in many, many ways!

I think older guys (ie 40-60) can do well on here - but to interest me they’d need to have all the afore-mentioned traits.

Far from it - try looking at it this way women may get 100 messages of which let's say 4 are of interest (which probably isn't that far off the mark) and they then chat to those 4 and may decide to only meet one of them, or they may decide to meet all four.

A guy on here who is respectful, considerate, has the right approach and expectations etc all combined with a decent profile will probably get a similar number of messages (either as replies or through being contacted) and adopt the same approach as the ladies to deciding which to take further.

So in summary, take out the guys that don't "get" it and the number imbalance becomes a lot more balanced both ways round.

It's no harder or easier for anyone when you look at it that way, just different experiences.

well i find being 58 is always a plus have the experience and outlook on life that you cant get from younger men its all about the first time you meet for a younger woman once sampled its always a easy come back I never message i wait till the woman gets in contact with me could be a couple where the woman fancies the older man no mater what always a great eve massage i give them sensual and firm and the rest just falls into place Not saying this works for all But for me its worked for years

I have to disagree too. I know a fair few guys on here over 50 with average bodies who have women actually seeking them out for meets.

The difference being instead of using age as an excuse for not getting meets, they are putting in effort to socialise and get a good reputation within the swinging community for being decent respectful men.
