Travelling

Not sure why, but today I suddenly realised that I generally listen to the exact same music (almost exclusively) that I did 15-25 years ago.

I don't sit and complain about current music trends, though they certainly are not my taste. Some exceptions always apply.

Does your taste in music change with the times?

Are you still listening to the same music when you were younger?

Have you adapted and welcomed each of the new musical eras, are you stuck in your "youth", or do you prefer music well before your time?

Brighton - even Hove!

Most of the music I like is Baroque, 50’s Jazz, 60’s psychedelic music, 70’s Rock, 80’s pop, 90’s madchester britpop and then about 10 songs in the past 20 years.

In the middle

I’m most definitely a rock chic with a sprinkle of disco thrown in

.

My taste in music has changed a lot but I still have a soft pop for music of my younger years. I went through a massive baroque adoration phase, crunk, emo, classic rock, indie... that's naming a few. I'd listen to that genre exclusively and obsessively. Now it's quite eclectic and I dip in to the aforementioned from time to time on my playlists.

Coventry

I got into Floyd and Zep when I was 8, 40 yrs on and I still get goose bumps with certain tracks.

I have some I've stuck with but there's just too much good music out there to be too loyal to any band/genre. I'm constantly seeking out recommendations from people and finding new and old things I love.
