A friend phoned the other day and asked if I knew the difference between vagina and vulva. I assumed he was leading to a joke so I said “no”.

His response was “oh come on really, how old are you?”. I was rather hurt!

But it’s the same with underwear on/off.

I don't think anyone's genitals are appealing to look at but the point of them is functionality and pleasure

Cocks look like plucked poultry and snatch looks like a mix of a squished sandwich, a clam, a dog's face chewing a wasp and so many other examples. Female genitalia is much more varied compared to male. What's important is the fun you can have with them they weren't formed to be stared at.

my theory is that if more men spent a little time learning the difference between vagina and vulva, they wouldn't fail but to notice on any vulva diagram an arrow pointing to that all important bud near the top of the picture. Failing that, maybe there's an iPhone app they can use to scan the vulva and identify the parts

I commend you . I do mention it now and again but felt I was fighting a losing battle when the guy who insisted that he knew many women with tattooed vaginas told me to look on Google for the evidence. Sadly typing "tattooed vagina" brought up many pictures of tattooed vulvas.
